Social platform “Tá no Mapa” (in English “On the Map”) is an innovative project in social inclusion, promoting digital citizenship. Favelas that were before invisible to search engines, being blank spaces on digital maps, become visible on a map, and now have their local shops, cultural activities and points of interest promoted. Developed by Brazilian NGO Afroreggae in Parada de Lucas, north zone of Rio de Janeiro, in collaboration with between the students of its digital educational program, 8ao80, and agency JWT, RAX, Maplink, Digibase, and Fillet.
